BIOGRAPHY

Hello! I'm Ava Bakker, a high school junior at Blue Valley West. I've been passionate about art since my elementary school days, but it wasn't until 8th grade that I started putting in my best efforts to improve my skills. I discovered my love for ceramics during my freshman year and have since taken drawing 1, Design fundamentals, ceramics 4 times, and will be in drawing 2, ceramics 2, painting 1 and 2, portfolio seminar, and AP drawing my senior year. My parents got me a digital camera in 2022 so this year I decided to take photography to learn how to take better pictures. I have learned so much over the past 3 years and I can't wait to learn new techniques in my final year of high school.
